2026 m. spalio 8-9 d. paveldo bendruomenę kviečiame susitikti Kernavės archeologinėje vietovėje, kur Valstybinio Kernavės kultūros rezervato direkcija kartu su partneriais organizuoja tarptautinę konferenciją „PAVELDO VALDYMAS: TARP GRĖSMIŲ IR GALIMYBIŲ“.
Konferencija kviečia tyrėjus, kultūros paveldo specialistus ir paveldo bendruomenės narius dalintis įžvalgomis bei patirtimis, susijusiomis su kultūros paveldo apsauga, valdymu ir tvariu jo panaudojimu. Renginio metu bus nagrinėjami kultūros paveldo teisinio reglamentavimo ir valdymo klausimai, UNESCO Pasaulio paveldo vietovių valdymo patirtys, vietos bendruomenių ir suinteresuotų šalių įtraukties praktikos, taip pat paveldo ir kultūrinio kraštovaizdžio kompleksiškumas. Konferencijos programoje kviečiama pristatyti tyrimus ir praktines iniciatyvas, susijusias su tvaraus turizmo plėtra, paveldo pažinimo ir pritaikymo įvairioms auditorijoms galimybėmis, inovatyviems paveldo pristatymo sprendimams ir kitas. Konferencija siekia skatinti tarpdisciplininį dialogą ir dalijimąsi gerosiomis praktikomis, prisidedant prie tvaraus kultūros paveldo išsaugojimo, pažinimo ir atsakingo jo naudojimo ateities kartoms.

On October 8–9, 2026, we invite the heritage community to gather at the Kernavė Archaeological Site, where the Administration of the Kernavė State Cultural Reserve, together with its partners, is organizing an international conference “HERITAGE MANAGEMENT: BETWEEN THREATS AND OPPORTUNITIES.”
The conference invites researchers, cultural heritage specialists, and members of the heritage community to share insights and experiences related to the protection, management, and sustainable use of cultural heritage. The event will explore issues of legal regulation and management of cultural heritage, experiences in managing UNESCO World Heritage sites, practices of engaging local communities and stakeholders, as well as the complexity of heritage and cultural landscapes. The conference program invites the presentation of research and practical initiatives related to the development of sustainable tourism, opportunities for heritage awareness and adaptation for various audiences, innovative solutions for heritage presentation, and more. The conference aims to promote interdisciplinary dialogue and the sharing of best practices, contributing to the sustainable preservation, appreciation, and responsible use of cultural heritage for future generations.
