
Spalio 8–9 d. Kernavės archeologinės vietovės muziejuje vyks tarptautinė konferencija „Paveldo valdymas: tarp grėsmių ir galimybių“, į kurią kviečiami susiburti Lietuvos ir užsienio šalių kultūros paveldo tyrėjai, specialistai, vietovių valdytojai, paveldo bendruomenės atstovai bei visi neabejingi šiai temai.
Konferencijoje bus kalbama apie šiandienos kultūros paveldo valdymo iššūkius ir galimybes – nuo teisinio reglamentavimo, UNESCO pasaulio paveldo vietovių valdymo ir bendruomenių įtraukimo iki tvaraus turizmo, kultūrinio kraštovaizdžio, inovatyvių paveldo pažinimo bei pristatymo sprendimų. 2-jų dienų programoje dalyvių laukia daugiau nei 2 dešimtys kultūros ir gamtos paveldo srities specialistų iš Lietuvos, Vokietijos, Italijos, Lenkijos ir Latvijos pranešimai, taip pat įtraukiančios diskusijos bei galimybė išsamiau pažinti Kernavės archeologinę vietovę.
Tikimasi, kad susitikimas Kernavėje taps erdve atviram tarpdisciplininiam dialogui, naujoms idėjoms ir bendroms įžvalgoms apie tai, kaip šiandien galime saugoti, valdyti ir atsakingai naudoti kultūros paveldą.

International Conference “Heritage Management: Between Threats and Opportunities” in Kernavė
On 8–9 October, the Archaeological Site Museum of Kernavė will host the international conference “Heritage Management: Between Threats and Opportunities”, bringing together cultural heritage researchers and professionals from Lithuania and abroad, site managers, representatives of heritage communities, and everyone interested in the topic.
The conference will explore the challenges and opportunities of cultural heritage management today – from legal frameworks, the management of UNESCO World Heritage sites and community engagement to sustainable tourism, cultural landscapes, and innovative approaches to heritage interpretation and presentation. The two-day programme will feature more than 20 presentations by cultural and natural heritage specialists from Lithuania, Germany, Italy, Poland and Latvia, as well as engaging discussions and an opportunity to explore the Kernavė Archaeological Site in greater depth.
The conference aims to provide a space for open interdisciplinary dialogue, new ideas and shared insights into how we can protect, manage and responsibly use cultural heritage today.
